Petersen and Corny the Clown Approve Healthy Menu Items
LOGAN, Utah—Jayne Petersen, returning guest on Opal Whitcomb's talkshow Opal Speaks, is now working with Burger Planet chefs to assure new menu offerings are as healthy as possible. As part of the ongoing effort to offer healthy choices to customers, Petersen and Corny the Clown will make appearances at restaurants and shopping malls around the country in June and July. The first mall appearance will be at the Mall of America in Minnesota. They will provide nutritional packets and advice to consumers about the new line of products now offered at Burger Planet. A big celebration will kick-off the promotion on May 12 in Times Square, New York.
Healthy choice additions to the Burger Planet menu include a chicken lettuce wrap, five different fruit packages, and a new line of gourmet salads. Also, customers may now request famous Burger Planet food products such as the Saturn and Venus burgers without the bun. “Burger Planet is committed to offering healthy choices on its menu,” said CEO of Burger Planet, James E. Muellenbach III.
Petersen, the instructor who helped Whitcomb lose and keep off 75 pounds, is developing a new adult Burger Planet Smiley Meal that includes an ankle weight, fruit packages, and a chicken entrée. Both Petersen and the company agree customers should live healthier and have active lifestyles. "Women can have a burger and fries now and then as long as they are active and also try some of Burger Planet's exciting new menu choices, such as the fruit packages," said Petersen.
Headquartered in Gary, Indiana, Burger Planet is the leader of the Quick Service Restaurant Industry and has served 52 billion customers. The company was founded in 1934 by James E Muellenbach I, now retired, and employs 48,272 people. At last count, the company had 8,921 franchises in every state and in 17 countries.

I thought your boiler plate was really good. I liked how you incorporated Jayne Petersen in almost every paragraph. Great release.
I also agree that your boiler plate was really good. Very well done release with lots of info. One thing, maybe it is just my take, but it seems as though Burger Planet changing is one of your key messages and I found a quote on the website that specifically said that was not what they wanted...I could be wrong though. Good job!
I like how you incorporated quotes and gave detailed info on their new food options and the upcoming events. One small AP thing I noticed in the boilerplate- I THINK that Gary, Indiana should be Gary, Ind. But you may wanna double check it. Great detailed release though!
