Free Soccer PR

Calle, a hip underground street soccer brand based in Provo, Utah, has a brilliant advertising plan.

Anyone who buys their gear gets a free Calle sticker shaped like a ball inscribed with their signature pigeon.

On the back of the sticker, it instructs the buyer (probably a teen or young adult male) to be a vandal. Slap the sticker on a crosswalk sign so it looks like the pedestrian shadow is playing soccer on the road.

It allows the "cool" deviant attitude but more importantly: also gets the Calle product promoted. Their goal is to get a sticker on every sign in the city.

Their campaign is "Anytime. Anywhere." This guerrilla marketing by fans results in a small clever change to something as simple as a crosswalk sign.

I think this is so great! Granted, they are vandalizing, but still. Can they get nailed for that with the law or anything because they are promoting that?

"Anytime. Anywhere." is a perfect slogan I think. It really emphasizes what they want. I think that it is the exact thing that they should try to get across. This is great PR.
